It consists of two separable components: the wine vessel zun and the basin pan. Crafted utilizing the lost-wax casting technique, the piece is covered with intricate openwork interlaced dragon motifs. Three-dimensional dragon sculptures wrap around the exterior, creating a rich, layered visual effect. Four square openwork panels decorate the pan, supported by three dragon-shaped legs. The elaborate pierced patterns demonstrate the extraordinary mastery of bronze craftsmanship in pre-imperial China. The vessel is blanketed in rich layers of emerald ancient patina, radiating authentic archaic charm. It faithfully embodies the grand, ornate aesthetic of Chu-style ritual bronzes from the Warring States era, standing as an outstanding example of ancient Chinese bronze art.
