It is carved from a superior piece of Hetian white jade, featuring a warm and lustrous texture, even ivory-white tone, refined structure, and a restrained inner glow. The seal body is carved in a classic square imperial format, displaying the dignified style associated with Qing imperial treasures. The finial is masterfully executed with layered openwork and deep relief carving, depicting a dynamic scene of dragons surrounding lotus blossoms and a pearl. Multiple dragons twist and overlap with powerful poses, raised heads, flowing manes, and finely detailed scales. Lotus flowers, curling stems, and auspicious cloud motifs are skillfully integrated throughout the composition, creating a rich sense of depth and movement. The carving demonstrates the extraordinary craftsmanship and luxurious aesthetic of Qianlong court jade artistry. The seal platform is decorated with a continuous key-fret border, while the sides feature finely carved imperial poetry inscriptions enhanced with gold filling, creating an elegant contrast between the white jade and golden decoration. The seal face bears a meticulously carved nine-fold seal script inscription with precise and powerful strokes, retaining traces of its historical use. The original solid zitan wood imperial box remains preserved, with an engraved inscription identifying it as a Qianlong imperial treasure associated with the Anyou Palace collection. As Emperor Qianlong was deeply devoted to imperial seals and the workshops of the Wuying Palace produced some of the finest court objects of the period, this exceptional Hetian jade seal represents the highest level of Qing imperial craftsmanship, combining royal authority, artistic excellence, and historical importance. The survival of its original zitan presentation box makes it an especially rare and important imperial jade masterpiece.
