Provenance: Private Collection, Hong Kong Description: This pair of Ding kiln white porcelain covered jars is a rare surviving matched set with original fitted covers. The jars feature a well-balanced form with wide folded rims, short necks, rounded bodies, and sturdy ring feet. Symmetrical double handles are placed at the shoulders, combining practical function with refined decoration. The fitted covers are designed with folded edges and pearl-shaped finials, creating a precise and elegant overall structure. The entire surface is covered with a warm ivory-white Ding glaze, displaying the kiln’s signature soft and refined appearance. Natural areas of aged soil staining remain on the surface, adding authentic historical character.
