It has flared mouth, curved wall and tall ring foot. The bowl interior centre is painted with powerful coiling dragon, scales finely rendered by dense net pattern, manes flying with flame‑cloud ornaments. Inner rim is encircled by continuous scrolling lotus border. Exterior upper wall is fully decorated with scrolling lotus blossoms with twisting vines. Lower exterior is frieze of stylized lotus‑petal panels inset with small floral sprigs and round dots. Base is unglazed sandy finish with robust white‑toned porcelain and heavy aged soil encrustation. Painted with Yuan imported cobalt pigment, presenting rich saturated blue hue with natural bleeding and iron rust spots under soft bluish glaze. Distinct decorative themes for interior and exterior rendered in bold free brushwork, elaborate yet well‑organized, fully embodying supreme porcelain‑making and painting craftsmanship of Yuan dynasty. Complete surviving examples of this type are relatively rare.
