The elegant silhouette and clean lines represent one of the most popular vessel forms produced by the Longquan kilns during the Yuan dynasty. The entire surface is covered with a rich blue-green celadon glaze, featuring a warm, antique character with naturally formed fine crackling throughout. The thinner glaze along the rim reveals a subtle transition to the light body tone beneath. The interior is decorated using carved techniques, centered with a circular medallion and surrounded by elegantly arranged branching flower and fruit motifs. The open spaces between the designs are enhanced with comb-patterned incised ground decoration, creating a layered and refined visual effect. The carving is confident and natural, with clearly defined floral outlines and gracefully flowing lines. A double-line bowstring border runs along the inner rim, adding a sense of order and balance. The exterior is decorated with radiating vertical chrysanthemum-petal ribs extending from the foot toward the rim, creating harmony between the interior and exterior decoration. The neatly finished foot reveals a reddish clay body with traces of old kiln residue and soil deposits, characteristic of Yuan dynasty Longquan ware. With its richly decorated surface, elegant celadon glaze, and balanced craftsmanship, this bowl represents an outstanding example of Yuan dynasty Longquan carved ceramics, combining practical function with refined decorative beauty.
