The body is made from refined, dense porcelain with a luminous white glaze, decorated using a combination of underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome enamels, creating rich layers of color and elegant visual contrast. The top of the cover is decorated with a branch of longevity peaches, with three full and rounded peaches surrounded by gracefully spreading branches and leaves. Additional auspicious motifs including grapes, peonies, and other symbolic fruits and flowers decorate the surrounding areas, expressing wishes for longevity, prosperity, and abundance. The rim of the cover is painted with a geometric blue diaper pattern highlighted with small white floral details, creating a refined and orderly design. The upper and lower sections of the box body are further decorated with seasonal branch flowers and fruit motifs, arranged with a balanced composition. The painting is fluid and carefully executed, with soft variations in blue tones and bright green, red, and yellow enamels applied harmoniously. The combination of blue-and-white porcelain elegance and colorful overglaze decoration demonstrates the sophisticated craftsmanship of Ming porcelain. The rounded foot is carefully finished, and the underside bears a six-character underglaze blue regular-script mark reading “Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi” within double circles. The fitted construction, complete decorative program, and auspicious fruit imagery reflect the refined taste of Ming court-inspired porcelain.
