It features small mouth, short neck, full shoulder, plump upper body tapering downwards to flat base with short foot, presenting elegant and upright silhouette. Neck is decorated with key‑fret band, below which scroll‑grass border is painted. Main body is fully painted with the “Three Friends of Winter”: pine, bamboo and plum. Gnarled pine tree with dense fine pine‑needles, upright bamboo with natural leaves, blooming plum blossoms with rugged branches, accompanied by rocks and plants in well‑balanced composition rendered in vigorous free brushwork. Separated by horizontal double lines, lower abdomen is adorned with continuous rhombus brocade band, with distinct orderly decorative layers. Flat sandy base has robust body clay covered by aged soil encrustation. Painted with Yuan imported cobalt pigment, yielding rich saturated blue tone with natural bleeding and iron‑rust spots under glossy bluish glaze. Pine‑bamboo‑plum is a classic auspicious motif on Yuan porcelain. This small meiping retains full decoration and distinct Yuan artistic style, complete surviving examples of this type are scarce.
