Provenance: Private Collection, Texas, USA，Description: This is a classic Jin–Yuan Dynasty Jun kiln heart-shaped bowl with a balanced and full-bodied form. The slightly flared rim transitions into a rounded curved body that gently narrows toward the base, creating the elegant heart-shaped silhouette commonly seen in Jun kiln tea and wine vessels. The entire bowl is covered with Jun kiln transmuted glaze. The glaze becomes thinner around the rim, creating a subtle brownish border. The body displays a rich rose-purple glaze effect, with purple areas flowing like clouds across the surface, blended naturally with moon-white and pale blue tones. Fine needle-like brown speckles appear throughout the glaze, enhancing the warm and creamy texture that is unique to Jun ceramics. The interior shows a natural fusion of purple, blue, and white tones, with spontaneous kiln-created patterns rather than artificial decoration. Near the lower section, the glaze flows naturally and forms a clear dripping boundary. The exterior of the foot remains unglazed, revealing a yellowish-brown clay body with a firm texture and clean trimming. The center of the foot is covered with a light moon-white glaze, matching typical Jin–Yuan Jun kiln firing techniques. Jun ware is famous for the saying “one color in the kiln, countless colors after firing,” and rose-purple glaze represents one of its most prized varieties.
