Dimensions & Weight: Height 6 cm, Diameter 11.5 cm (approx. 2.4 in. high, 4.5 in. diameter; approx. 0.20 ft high, 0.38 ft diameter), 19th century，Condition & Provenance: Good overall condition with well-preserved glaze, decoration, and a clear reign mark on the base. From a private collection in California, USA，Description: This bowl is a classic Guangxu imperial porcelain piece from the Qing Dynasty, featuring a finely proportioned form with a gently flared rim, rounded body, and neatly finished foot. The porcelain body is refined and white, covered with a smooth and luminous white glaze that creates an elegant and understated appearance. The rim is decorated with double blue painted lines, while the exterior is beautifully painted in doucai style with the Eight Buddhist Auspicious Symbols, including the Dharma Wheel, Conch Shell, Parasol, Canopy, Lotus, Treasure Vase, Golden Fish, and Endless Knot. The designs are outlined in underglaze blue and filled with delicate overglaze enamels in green, red, yellow, and light blue tones. The flowing ribbons and decorative elements are carefully arranged with a refined color balance and precise execution. A band of doucai banana leaf decoration encircles the lower section above the foot, with clearly defined veins and orderly composition. The base is finely finished and bears a blue underglaze regular script mark reading “Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi,” a standard imperial Guangxu reign mark. The Eight Auspicious Symbols are traditional Buddhist motifs representing blessings, purity, and harmony. With its elegant form, refined painting style, and well-preserved condition, this bowl represents the delicate craftsmanship and aesthetic taste of late Qing imperial doucai porcelain.
