The porcelain body is finely made and covered with a clean, luminous white glaze. The exterior is decorated with a continuous famille-rose composition of seasonal flowers, including plum blossoms, orchids, peonies, hollyhocks, and roses, all painted with delicate ink outlines and natural flowing branches. The soft palette of pink, red, orange, purple, and green creates a refined and harmonious appearance. The detailed floral painting combines technical precision with a graceful literati aesthetic. The underside bears a red seal-script mark reading “Dingfu Xing You Heng Tang Collection.” “You Heng Tang” was the studio name associated with the Ding Prince’s residence during the Qing Dynasty and is recognized as a mark found on specially commissioned palace-style wares. With its elegant design, refined painting style, and royal household association, this bowl represents a fine example of late Qing famille-rose porcelain.
