Dimensions: Diameter 30 cm / 11.8 in; approximately 12 in; 14th century Yuan Dynasty blue and white porcelain，Condition & Provenance: The piece is well preserved with a naturally aged surface, warm glaze, and authentic kiln characteristics. Minor iron spots from firing and natural signs of age are visible, consistent with Yuan Dynasty blue and white porcelain. The underside retains the exposed sandy clay body typical of the period. Provenance: Private Collection, California, USA; from a family collection for over 50 years.Description:This impressive Yuan Dynasty blue and white charger features a wide rim, shallow curved body, and a sturdy foot, presenting the monumental scale and refined proportions characteristic of early Chinese export porcelain. The interior is decorated in layered cobalt-blue painting, centered with a powerful single dragon enclosed within double rings. The dragon displays a vigorous twisting body, raised head, flowing mane, finely rendered scale pattern, flaming limbs, and dynamic claws, surrounded by auspicious flaming pearls.The surrounding cavetto is decorated with continuous floral scrolls featuring peony blossoms, with lush leaves and elegant curling stems creating a balanced composition.The porcelain surface has a soft blue-white glaze, while the deep cobalt decoration shows strong contrast and confident brushwork.
