The iron-red decoration retains its vibrant color and clear outlines, while the bases preserve the original Qianlong reign marks. No significant restoration is visible. Provenance: Private Collection, New York, USA; preserved in the same family collection for over 50 years.Description: This pair of Qianlong period bell-shaped cups represents the refined craftsmanship of Qing imperial porcelain. The elegant form features a flared rim, gently rounded body, and a small, neatly finished foot. The exterior is decorated with iron-red painted double dragons chasing flaming pearls, with powerful dragon heads, flowing manes, and finely detailed scales rendered with exceptional precision. Surrounding the dragons are flame motifs, cloud patterns, and ocean cliff designs near the base, symbolizing imperial stability and everlasting prosperity. The iron-red color is rich and balanced, with confident brushwork and refined detailing. Each cup bears an iron-red seal-script mark reading “Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi” on the base, consistent with imperial porcelain production of the Qianlong court. Preserved as a complete pair, this set is an outstanding example of Qianlong imperial tea ware and highly desirable among collectors.
