The upper turtle is carved from Hetian jade with a soft celadon-white tone, showing natural mineral traces across the surface. Its shell is finely outlined with a geometric turtle-shell pattern, while the four limbs are simply and confidently rendered. The second turtle features rich reddish-brown surface staining, giving it a deep, aged appearance with a strong sense of history. Together, the paired turtles symbolize longevity, enduring fortune, and lasting blessings. The lower pendant depicts a round-carved mythical beast with a powerful yet compact form, decorated with refined spiral motifs and covered with deep natural coloration, representing protection, prosperity, and the ability to ward off negative forces. The jade carvings are separated by old red agate barrel beads, creating a beautiful contrast between the warm red tones and the subtle colors of the ancient jade. With its natural patina, archaic carving style, and meaningful symbolism, this pendant group reflects the refined taste of ancient Chinese jade culture and can be appreciated both as a collectible artwork and as a display piece.
