Provenance: Private Collection, California, USA.Description: This group consists of three Warring States period glass eye beads, each with a rounded drum-like form and a distinctive decorative style. The first bead features a deep green glass ground decorated with layered blue, red, and white floral-style eye patterns, accented by scattered small dots that create a rich and colorful surface. The middle bead has a deep blue ground with concentric spiral eye motifs, carefully arranged in multiple rings with touches of red decoration. The third bead displays a green-toned ground decorated with yellow triple-core eye patterns, complemented by scattered green and white details. Each bead is pierced through the center, with thick perforated channels showing natural soil deposits and aged wear around the openings. The surfaces have developed a naturally weathered exterior with areas of mineral erosion, giving the beads a deeply aged appearance. As important personal ornaments of the pre-Qin aristocracy, these Warring States glass eye beads represent rare examples of ancient craftsmanship and remain highly valued for both historical research and antique bead collecting.
