The surface is richly ornamented with overlapping red, white, and dark-colored glass elements. The circular eye patterns are arranged in varied sizes, with red and white rings surrounding dark centers and additional red circular accents creating a striking visual effect. The bead is pierced through the center with a wide opening, showing thick walls, natural soil deposits, and smooth ancient wear around the opening. After centuries of burial, the surface has developed a natural weathered patina, with areas of mineral alteration and softened colors. As a high-status ornament associated with the aristocracy of the Warring States period, this polychrome composite-eye glass bead represents an exceptional example of early Chinese glass craftsmanship, valued for both historical significance and collector appeal.
