The Buddha sits in the lotus position with a calm and serene expression, softly lowered eyelids, and a carefully carved ushnisha with clearly defined hair details. He wears a monastic robe draped over both shoulders, with naturalistic folds flowing across the body. The right hand extends downward in the gesture of granting blessings, while the left hand rests before the abdomen with clearly defined mudra details. The figure is hollow cast, with visible traces of ancient casting remains, corrosion, and earthen deposits inside the cavity. The back of the figure displays finely carved hair and robe details executed with great precision. The sculpture features a deep, aged surface patina and authentic bronze mineralization, reflecting centuries of devotional use. Presented on its original wooden base, the figure carries a dignified and peaceful presence. Small ancient Buddhist bronzes of this type are rare surviving examples of personal devotional practice and hold significant religious, historical, and collectible value.
