A straight spout extends from one side while a substantial loop handle is attached to the opposite side, complemented by paired shoulder fittings that create a balanced and powerful silhouette. The entire surface is covered with a rich brown kiln-glazed finish, with deep chocolate tones around the rim and interior. The glaze displays natural blue-green kiln transformations, giving the surface a beautifully aged and atmospheric appearance. The body is decorated with raised beast-mask appliqués holding rings, combined with pierced bosses in a bold molded design. The relief decoration is crisp and expressive, reflecting the strong artistic character of ancient Chinese ceramic craftsmanship. The lower body and foot remain unglazed, revealing a solid clay body with visible wheel-cut marks and natural mineral staining. Combining molded decoration with dramatic kiln effects, this historical tea and wine vessel embodies a powerful archaic aesthetic and remains highly suitable for collection and display.
