The entire surface is covered with a deep black-brown glaze enriched with natural kiln transformation effects, displaying subtle blue-gray and golden-brown speckling throughout. The warm, restrained glaze creates a refined and antique appearance. One side of the body preserves the iconic paper-cut appliqué decoration of a flowering plum branch, where the dark floral motif merges beautifully with the flowing kiln-fired glaze. The interior rim is covered with a rich brown glaze, while the unglazed foot reveals the coarse gray-white clay body and original wheel-trimming marks. With its sophisticated glaze effects and expressive floral decoration, this piece reflects the artistic achievement of Jizhou ware and represents a highly collectible example of Southern Song dynasty ceramics.
