The vase features a small rolled rim, short straight neck, full rounded shoulders, a tapered body, and a slightly flared foot, creating the elegant and balanced silhouette traditionally used for both wine storage and interior display. The entire surface is covered with a deep black glaze decorated with natural fine crackling and a rich aged patina. Around the neck is a band of white and brown painted key-fret decoration, creating a simple yet refined border.
