Private Collection, Nevada Description: The handle is exquisitely crafted with granulated solid gold open‑filigree scrolling vines set with scattered turquoise cabochons. Fine bone teeth form the functional comb section. This luxurious toiletry ornament belonged to high‑ranking Tang noble ladies. Surviving examples of this composite gold‑and‑bone type are extremely rare, carrying great artistic and archaeological significance.
