The seal body is carved in a precise rectangular form, with an engraved dated inscription on the side executed with confident and elegant knife work. The top is carved in high relief with a reclining mythical beast resting upon the seal platform. The creature has a graceful curled posture and a calm expression, holding a delicately curved lingzhi fungus in its mouth. Fine details of the mane, flowing hair, and textured body are skillfully rendered with smooth, lively lines and rich layers of carving, creating a strong three-dimensional effect. The seal face is carved with Zhuwen (red-script) seal inscription, featuring elegant archaic seal script, balanced composition, powerful rounded strokes, and clearly preserved carving marks with traces of old cinnabar ink.
