The surface displays naturally scattered dark mineral particles, creating a rich and organic visual character. The body is designed with an unusual curved silhouette, flowing contours, and raised rib-like modeling that gives the vessel a lively and sculptural appearance. The spout, handle, and finial are all inspired by bamboo sections, with carefully rendered bamboo details that create a refined scholarly atmosphere. The lid follows the natural curve of the body and fits precisely. One side of the vessel is decorated with carved bamboo leaves, while the opposite side features elegant running-script poetry inscriptions with balanced depth and graceful carving. The base is finished with a circular foot and retains its original maker’s mark. Combining form, carving, and calligraphic artistry, this teapot represents the refined taste of Chinese literati culture and remains a highly collectible example of Yixing zisha craftsmanship.
