Provenance: Private Collection, California, USA，Description: This elegant pair of Yongzheng period famille rose “Rooster Cups” represents one of the most celebrated forms in Qing imperial porcelain. Each cup features the classic shallow rounded body with a gently flared rim and a neatly finished foot, displaying a refined silhouette and delicate craftsmanship. The exterior is beautifully painted in famille rose enamels with a lively family scene of roosters and hens among flowers, grasses, and garden rocks. The colorful plumage of the rooster, the accompanying hen, and playful chicks are rendered with delicate brushwork, complemented by chrysanthemums, orchids, and natural landscape elements. The soft combination of pink, red, and green enamels creates a graceful and harmonious composition, symbolizing prosperity, happiness, and family harmony. The interior remains decorated with a pure white glaze, with one cup retaining an old collection label. The bases are marked with double blue circles and the six-character Yongzheng reign mark “大清雍正年製” in regular script. Preserved as a complete pair with excellent glaze and enamel condition, these cups are outstanding examples of Qing dynasty famille rose porcelain, combining refined imperial aesthetics with practical elegance.
