The whole surface is covered with fine sgraffito scrollwork on bright yellow enamel ground, over‑painted with elaborate famille‑rose scrolling lotus blossoms with detailed petals and winding foliage. Gilded longevity‑character emblems adorn the upper bulb; the lower bulb features iron‑red squared geometric frames enclosing interlocking lotus scrolls. A band of pink upward‑pointing lotus‑petal lappets runs along the base. Interior and base are glazed in pale cyan, the base bears an iron‑red six‑character seal mark “Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi”. Combining sgraffito incising, gilding and multi‑colour enamel painting, the vase is stately in shape and luxuriant in decoration, representative of high‑grade Qianlong imperial porcelain.
