Constructed as a revolving vessel with outer shell and rotatable inner garlic‑mouth insert, the neck features pierced openwork panels, and the garlic‑shaped rim is gilded. Three iron‑red gilded ram‑head moulded ornaments project from the shoulder, symbolizing the auspicious theme “Three Rams Bring Good Fortune”. The main body is painted in famille‑rose with continuous landscape scene: pine trees, flowering shrubs, rock formations and rams wandering amid nature with fine gradation of colours. The neck and garlic‑mouth are decorated with ruby‑red ground scrolling lotus, interspersed with key‑fret and ruyi‑head borders outlined in gold. The white base bears six‑character blue seal mark “Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi”. Integrating openwork, composite assembly, moulded sculpture and famille‑rose painting, this vessel represents the supreme technical achievement of Qianlong imperial porcelain.
