The body covered with smooth white glaze, underglaze cobalt blue of characteristic Yuan tone with natural pigment speckles. Main surface decorated with large‑scale interlocking peony scrolls, full‑blown blossoms with layered petals amid winding foliage, rendered in bold, fluid brushwork. Flanking sections depict peacock wing motifs echoing the lid, supplemented by flame scrolls towards lower body. Unglazed sandy base displays robust ceramic body with typical kiln and burial‑style traces. Impressive in scale and rare in form, representing high‑level Yuan blue‑and‑white craftsmanship.
