Description: This elegant celadon flowerpot features a flared rim, a slightly narrower body, and a finely trimmed foot. The overall shape is balanced and refined, making it a traditional decorative flowerpot that combines practicality and aesthetics. The body is covered in a soft celadon glaze with a delicate greenish-blue hue, a bright and warm sheen. Natural, fine crackles are visible on the glaze, while the glaze is slightly darker in the recessed carved areas, adding to the decorative richness. The exterior decoration is divided into upper and lower sections. The upper part is carved with a continuous lotus pattern, with blooming lotuses and curling lotus leaves encircling the body, forming a rhythmic and beautiful design. Faint throwing marks are visible in the center of the vessel, along with a small amount of clay residue from the passage of time. The lower foot ring is exquisitely carved, revealing the light-colored clay body and preserving natural traces left from the firing process, including dark support marks and iron-red marks from ancient firing techniques. This piece combines elegant celadon glaze, exquisite carved decoration, and delicate form, showcasing the understated beauty and superb craftsmanship of Song Dynasty ceramics.
