Description: This magnificent hardwood screen features a finely carved frame inlaid with a natural marble landscape panel. Measuring 71.2 cm high and 50.8 cm wide, it is a magnificent interior decoration for traditional Chinese halls and studies. The screen consists of three parts: a carved wooden frame, a natural marble panel, and a base. The hardwood frame has a deep, elegant color and a mature patina. The entire frame is intricately carved with a geometric meander pattern, precisely arranged and crafted with exquisite skill. The natural marble panel, with its unique mineral texture, creates a captivating landscape painting: the pristine white base resembles floating clouds, while deep black and gray-green veins intertwine to form layered mountains, rugged cliffs, and deep valleys. Without the need for brushstrokes, the stone itself embodies the poetic beauty of traditional Chinese ink wash landscape painting, achieving a perfect balance between reality and illusion. The supporting structure and columns are crafted from matching hardwood carvings, adorned with openwork floral patterns and rustic geometric designs. The lower panel features a deep-relief ancient dragon motif, with a central floral design, while the curved ruyi feet lend the screen a stable yet elegant posture. This screen perfectly blends exquisite hardwood carving techniques, traditional craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of marble's landscape textures, making it a masterpiece of Chinese decorative furniture art and a prestigious piece for important interior spaces.
