Description: This Qing Dynasty Hetian jade covered bottle is carved from a single piece of jade, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of traditional Chinese jade carving. The bottle is 21 cm high and weighs 1153 g. Its shape is a double gourd, consisting of a body and a lid. The lid is carved with lifelike curling vine patterns that perfectly fit the mouth of the bottle. This jade piece is made from Hetian celadon jade, with a fine texture and a natural brownish-red color. The craftsman skillfully utilized the contrasting colors of the jade, carving the dark brown sections into leaves, while using the emerald green body to create gourds and vines, resulting in a rich and layered color effect. The entire piece is adorned with high-relief curling vines, graceful leaves, and numerous small gourds, symbolizing generations of prosperity and endless blessings. A bat motif is carved on one side of the lower section, signifying good fortune. The piece has a spacious feel, and after polishing, it displays a warm and understated luster, with an overall full and substantial shape. Double gourd jade pieces are a classic form from the Qing Dynasty. This piece combines the natural color variations of the jade, auspicious symbolism, and exquisite craftsmanship, making it both an elegant decorative item and a jade work of art of extraordinary significance.
