拍品描述
Dimensions: Length 20 cm (7.9 inches); Height 6 cm (2.4 inches); 10th-13th century; Condition and Provenance: This piece is generally well-preserved and consistent with its age. The glaze exhibits rich natural crackle patterns and classic "gold and iron wire" aging textures. Visible glaze wear, soil crusting, and natural aging reflect its long history. The interior still retains the original firing support marks, and an antique tag is attached to the bottom. Provenance: Private collection, New York, USA. Description: This ruyi-shaped celadon four-legged begonia-shaped washer measures 20 cm in length and 6 cm in height. The body is an elegant oval begonia shape with a slightly flared rim and a gently narrowing inner wall. The base is supported by four cloud-shaped ruyi feet, a typical feature of elegant Song Dynasty literati objects. The entire piece is covered in a sky-blue Ru glaze with crisscrossing crackle patterns, displaying beautiful golden-brown signs of age. Over the centuries, the glaze has naturally worn away, revealing deposits and fine erosion marks, with crackles extending naturally to both the inner and outer surfaces of the vessel. Fine firing support marks are visible inside the gasket, preserving the imprint of the original kiln firing process. The base is a raised platform structure, with the four legs integrally formed with the body, and the old collector's label is still preserved on the bottom. The elegant shape, exquisite glaze, and the marks of time imbue this piece with a rich historical atmosphere and classic Song Dynasty aesthetics.
