Description: This pair of bamboo armrests measures 29 cm in length, 10.5 cm in width, and weighs 576 g. Made from mature bamboo, each piece features a classic arched tile shape. The outer surface of the bamboo exhibits warm tones and a refined patina, while the inner layer displays naturally aged textures and unique patterns, highlighting the mature quality of the bamboo. The outer side of the armrests is decorated with an autumnal floral and insect scene in the style of the inlaid decorations, using a variety of precious materials including turquoise, lapis lazuli, agate, Shoushan stone, and mother-of-pearl. Craftsmen meticulously carved reeds, flowers, leaves, lingzhi mushrooms, butterflies, and other materials into a richly layered and colorful scene. The flowing branches and leaves, the lively butterflies, and the contrasting inlaid colors together create a vibrant autumnal landscape. Dark lacquer outlines the branches, while yellow tones accentuate the lines of the stems, achieving a perfect balance between realism and decorative elegance. These armrests, identical in shape and size and in excellent condition, are a masterpiece of traditional Chinese literati craftsmanship, perfectly blending bamboo carving techniques with exquisite inlay work.
