Description: This exquisite brush pot is carved from a single piece of solid wood, its robust and powerful form typical of Chinese literati objects. The natural texture of the wood grain is integrated into the design, and the rugged, burl-like edges create a rustic and natural charm. The exterior of the brush pot is decorated with a continuous high-relief pine and crane motif, a traditional Chinese symbol of longevity and prosperity. The ancient pine tree meanders, its branches, needles, and bark textures depicted with lifelike detail. Several cranes perch among the pine branches or stand on rocks, their feathers meticulously detailed and their postures elegant. The carving combines deep carving, openwork, and high relief techniques to create an excellent three-dimensional effect and rich layers. The interior of the pen holder is smooth and delicate, while the original wooden base retains the marks of time, showing natural wear and tear and clear wood grain. This pen holder is large in size, exquisitely crafted, and possesses an artistic flair, making it a masterpiece of Chinese wood carving art, both practical and beautiful.
