Description: This Yuan Dynasty Longquan celadon tripod incense burner boasts a grand and imposing design, suitable for both ritual and decorative purposes. Its slightly flared rim, cylindrical body, and three feet carved into animal heads convey the solemn and dignified feel characteristic of ritual objects of the time. The entire body is covered in a thick, soft, and lustrous pinkish-blue celadon glaze, showcasing the exquisite texture unique to high-grade Longquan porcelain glazes. The exterior is primarily decorated with raised Bagua (Eight Trigrams) patterns, interspersed with flowing and graceful relief cloud patterns. The rim is adorned with multiple horizontal lines, creating a balanced and refined composition. The interior is glazed, preserving traces of the wheel-throwing process, while the rim shows signs of repair. A ring of clay is exposed at the base, faintly revealing the original firing color. The three legs are full-bodied and glazed. This large piece, with its intricate decoration, including Daoist-style Bagua cloud patterns, is a masterpiece of Yuan Dynasty Longquan porcelain. Despite its restoration, it remains an important reference piece for the study and collection of early Chinese ceramics.
