Description: This Jian ware tea bowl adopts the classic conical "chicken beak" shape from Song Dynasty tea culture. The rim flares slightly outward, the body is gently conical, and the foot rim is low and stable. Made from the iron-rich clay unique to Jian ware, it exhibits the characteristic heavy, rustic texture and reddish-brown firing characteristics of Jian ware. The foot rim is neatly finished, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the Song Dynasty. Natural signs of aging and kiln firing are visible throughout the bowl. The entire piece is covered with a beautiful glaze with a deep sapphire blue base, adorned with shimmering gold dots. Gold flecks diffuse naturally, covering the entire surface, creating a dynamic fusion between the blue glaze and the metallic gold patterns. The glaze exhibits a strong sense of movement and layering, with internal patterns converging towards the center, displaying ever-changing colors under light. The thick glaze is crystal clear like glass, while the thinner glaze at the rim reveals a warm brown sheen. This piece showcases the unpredictable temperature variations during the Jian kiln firing process, resulting in its unique and breathtaking patterns. Not only is its glaze technique exquisite and its shape symmetrical, but it also embodies the iron-rich body characteristic of Jian ware, making it a coveted treasure for Song Dynasty ceramic collectors.
