Description: This Guanyin statue is carved from a piece of Hetian white jade, with a warm and delicate texture and soft color. The jade is smooth, lustrous, and has a light celadon color, with a full and rounded form. The carving skillfully incorporates the natural jade skin, using the natural color of the jade to outline an elegant lotus pattern. The Guanyin statue is in a relaxed seated posture, with a high bun, a serene face, gentle eyes, and a compassionate and peaceful expression. The long earlobes, flowing ribbons, and elegant draped robe are all carved with smooth and natural lines, creating a sense of dynamism and nobility. Holding a ruyi scepter in the right hand and a lotus flower gently in the left, the overall posture is dignified and elegant. The back of the sculpture retains the natural jade skin, carved into lotus and leaf patterns, forming a delicate contrast with the pure white jade body. The base has been finely polished, showcasing the thick, oily jade texture and radiating a soft, restrained luster. The original rosewood base is carved with openwork lotus patterns, the lotus petals full and the vines intertwined, complementing the sculpture and adding to its solemnity. This masterpiece perfectly combines large-scale jade material with exquisite carving craftsmanship, making it a truly exquisite work of art for offering and display.
