Description: This impressive Qing dynasty blue-and-white square vase boasts a grand and architecturally elegant form, with a square mouth, constricted neck, sloping shoulders, straight body, and square foot. The mouth is decorated with a classic meander pattern, while the four sides of the neck are painted with exquisite qilin (mythical creatures) in rich blue tones and elegant details. The shoulders are adorned with intricate diamond patterns surrounding a frame depicting a scene of children playing, showcasing the refined decorative taste of the Qianlong court. The vessel is decorated on all four sides with grand historical narrative scenes, depicting landscapes, military camps, flags, weapons, carriages, tables and chairs, and numerous figures, including generals, attendants, and servants. The painter meticulously portrays the mountains, buildings, flags, and figures, with exquisite composition and distinct layers, presenting a complete historical story on the square vessel shape. The cobalt blue enamel in varying shades contrasts sharply with the pure white porcelain body, while touches of underglaze red add visual richness. The square foot is decorated with a meander pattern, and the bottom is inscribed with six characters in seal script: "Made in the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty." The well-preserved old collector's label further confirms its history in international private collections.
