Description: This exquisite underglaze blue ruyi vase has a tall and elegant shape, with an everted mouth, a long neck, a stepped shoulder, a straight cylindrical body, and a stable foot. It is one of the classic large decorative pieces used for important interior decoration in the Qing Dynasty. The mouth is decorated with underglaze blue ruyi patterns, while the neck is decorated with stylized banana leaf patterns and geometric patterns, adorned with the Chinese character "长寿" (longevity). The body is decorated with intricate lotus patterns surrounding four large panels, each panel depicting delicate flower baskets and antique motifs. The flower basket is filled with seasonal flowers such as peonies, lotuses, and chrysanthemums, symbolizing prosperity, harmony, and good fortune. Other decorative elements include antiques, bats, bouquets, and auspicious patterns that run throughout the design. The vibrant cobalt blue decoration contrasts sharply with the pure white porcelain body, showcasing the exquisite brushwork and balanced composition characteristic of Kangxi imperial porcelain. The base is thick and robust, with a six-character Kangxi reign mark in underglaze blue. With its magnificent presence, exquisite decoration, and auspicious symbolism, this vase is a quintessential example of Qing dynasty court decorative porcelain.
