Description: This magnificent Tibetan Buddhist bronze Vajrakilaya is a large ritual implement sculpture, showcasing the complete image of the Vajrakilaya deity. Height 101 cm and weight 11.3 kg, it is a temple-grade ritual implement, not a handheld implement. The sculpture is made of refined bronze, cast using the traditional lost-wax method, exhibiting a deep and warm bronze patina developed over many years. The statue is arranged vertically, with multiple Buddha images and wrathful deity heads at the top, a four-armed Vajrakilaya image in the center, a three-edged vajra with an elephant head below, and a lotus-shaped triangular base at the bottom. The tiered upper figures symbolize purification and transformation. The central Vajrakilaya has a majestic face, wearing an exquisite crown, a flowing robe, and an intricate necklace adorned with finely carved patterns. Its four arms hold traditional ritual implements such as a vajra, a scimitar, a skull bowl, and a ritual rope, representing the complete Vajrakilaya system. The lower elephant-headed, three-edged vajra symbolizes the removal of obstacles from body, speech, and mind. The double-layered lotus pedestal and triangular base are decorated with intricate carvings, symbolizing stability, protection, and spiritual power. This magnificent Vajrakilaya combines sculpture, ritual function, and exceptional metalworking craftsmanship, representing the artistic achievement of Tibetan Buddhist ritual bronze works, intended for temple worship, protective rituals, and sacred displays.
