Description: This Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain vessel with dragon, phoenix, and cloud motifs has a diameter of 26 cm and a height of 22 cm. This is a classic large decorative porcelain piece, used for traditional interior decoration, water storage, fishkeeping, and study decoration. The body has a traditional flattened shape, wide rims, a slightly narrower body, and a stable foot rim. The overall shape is full, stable, and elegant, combining practical function with elegant palace decoration. The decoration is arranged in multiple horizontal sections, with an exquisite composition. The rim is decorated with geometric triangles in blue, green, and iron-red, outlined with cobalt blue lines, creating a lively and elegant border. The lower part is adorned with continuous blue waves and waterscape patterns, symbolizing stability and prosperity, while highlighting the central dragon and phoenix theme. The body is white, decorated with a magnificent five-colored dragon and phoenix design. The dragon's body is primarily painted in cobalt blue, with meticulous details on scales, horns, whiskers, and claws, accented with red and green enamel. The dragon moves gracefully among layers of auspicious cloud patterns, exuding power and elegance. Flame-like pearls and auspicious patterns surround the dragon, creating a rich and balanced decorative effect. The interior is glazed in a clear white with a soft blue tint. This porcelain piece has a thick body and a glossy glaze, retaining the appearance of traditional handmade porcelain. The glaze is vibrant and long-lasting, with the cobalt blue decoration contrasting sharply with the pure white porcelain surface. The base is a wide, circular foot, exposing part of the porcelain clay and revealing natural kiln firing marks and the patina of time. The dragon and phoenix motif is one of the most famous decorative patterns in Chinese art, symbolizing harmony, prosperity, and good fortune. This porcelain piece, with its magnificent scale, exquisite craftsmanship, vivid painting, and elegant shape, is a model of large-scale decorative porcelain from the Qing Dynasty.
