Condition and Provenance: Excellent overall condition; the bamboo structure is intact, retaining the natural color of the bamboo and displaying charming signs of age. The bamboo weaving surface is smooth and new, and the ink painting screen is also well-preserved, bearing natural signs of age and use. Provenance: Private collection, Georgia, USA. Description: This four-panel Chinese bamboo folding screen is a perfect example of the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and literati painting aesthetics. Measuring 178 cm wide and 153 cm high, the screen is elegantly designed and can serve as both an architectural partition and a traditional interior decoration.
