Description: This ancient Silk Road necklace, composed of an engraved agate horn center bead, an ancient eye glass tube bead, and multicolored West Asian glass beads, showcases the unique multicultural jewelry tradition of the early Silk Road trade. The 6.5 cm long bead is carved from translucent caramel-colored agate with three evenly distributed white etched bands on its surface. The beads' natural weathering pores and smooth, mature patina reflect their use as ancient amulets and symbolic ornaments. Three slender, tubular glass beads, each approximately 6.7 cm long, are decorated with concentric eye-like patterns in white, red, and gold on their dark brown glass tubes. These beads originated from trade between the ancient Mediterranean and West Asia. The necklace is also embellished with blue and turquoise saucer-shaped glass beads, creating a rich contrast in color and texture. Each bead exhibits natural surface aging and rounded edges from centuries of circulation. The entire necklace perfectly preserves the style of ancient Silk Road ornaments, blending rare materials, exquisite beadwork, and the exchange between Eastern and Western cultures.
