Description: This exquisite Qing Dynasty court-style pipa vase, themed "Harmony in the Family and Prosperity in Life," integrates various techniques including famille rose enamels, underglaze blue, gilding, and three-dimensional shaping. The pipa is elegantly shaped, with an everted rim, high neck, rounded shoulders, a full lower body, and a slightly everted foot. Two finely carved animal-head handles extend from the shoulders, each holding a gilded ring, further highlighting the exquisite elegance of court furnishings. The neck is adorned with plum blossoms, bamboo, and flying birds, while the shoulders are outlined with blue-and-white lotus patterns, enhancing its exquisite appearance. The main body of the pipa is painted in famille rose enamels depicting quails perched among bamboo, rocks, and flowers. The quails are rendered with layers of brown, black, and ochre, their feather details lifelike and their expressions vivid. Bamboo, flowers, and the elegant landscape depicted by literati create a beautiful and harmonious scene. The quail motif symbolizes harmony, peace, and wealth, representing a peaceful and happy life. A poem inscription with a red seal adds an artistic touch, showcasing the refined taste of Qing dynasty imperial porcelain decoration. This piece integrates various advanced techniques of Qing dynasty porcelain, including famille rose painting, gilding decoration, molding and carving, and artistic inscriptions.
