Description: This Goryeo celadon vase employs the iconic Korean inlay technique. It features a gracefully flared mouth, a slender neck, rounded shoulders, a full body, and an elegant base. Its balanced silhouette embodies the refined aesthetics of Goryeo ceramics, suitable as both a decorative vessel and a beautiful vase for flowers. The vase's greyish-brown body and exposed foot reveal natural kiln firing marks, while the surface is covered with a soft blue-green celadon glaze with naturally formed crackles, presenting a warm and rustic texture that is highly sought after by collectors. The vase employs traditional Goryeo inlay techniques, first carving patterns into the clay, then filling them with black and white pigments, and finally glazing and firing. The center of the vase depicts a crane flying among clouds; the crane's body is inlaid in white, while its feathers and beak are delicately carved in black, surrounded by elegant cloud patterns. The crane symbolizes longevity and good fortune and is one of the most popular decorative themes in Goryeo celadon. This vase is well-proportioned, exquisitely crafted, and beautifully inlaid, representing the artistic achievements of Goryeo ceramic culture and remaining highly sought after by international collectors.
