Description: This Northern Song Dynasty Hutian ware celadon covered bowl showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of Song Dynasty ceramics. The deep body and arched lid create a balanced and substantial form, reflecting the characteristics of Hutian ware's refined and practical vessels. The wide rim ensures a tight fit between the lid and the bowl. The rim is decorated with a sculpted "dragon bridge" shaped knob, with a coiled dragon body; the openwork design facilitates handling and adds a touch of refined decoration. The interior maintains an elegant simplicity, revealing subtle wheel marks left from the early shaping process. The bowl is entirely covered in classic Hutian celadon glaze, presenting a soft, light blue-white tone. The glaze is translucent and crystal clear, resembling the brilliance of jade. Fine natural crackles on the glaze, like ice crackles formed over hundreds of years, further enhance its antique charm. The glaze is slightly thinner at the rim, revealing traces of historical sedimentation. The foot rim reveals a pure white body with natural yellowish soil marks and dark age marks, reflecting its long burial environment and historical significance. The charm of this large Song Dynasty Hutian kiln covered bowl lies in its elegant shape, crystal-clear glaze, and sculpted dragon-shaped knob, rather than its elaborate decoration. The meticulously carved dragon-shaped top and well-preserved structure make it a rare example of Song Dynasty celadon, combining exquisite aesthetics, practical function, and collectible value.
