Description: This Qing Dynasty underglaze blue longevity dish measures 28.5 cm in diameter and 5.3 cm in height. It is a classic folk ritual decoration used for auspicious display, featuring a deep blue as the main color and decorated with patterns symbolizing longevity. The dish has a wide rim, a shallow, round body, slightly sloping walls, and a stable circular foot. Its moderate size makes it suitable for display, offering, and banquets. The rim is decorated with two blue bands, and the foot is also decorated with corresponding blue lines. The exterior is decorated with four simple scroll patterns, showcasing the typical decorative style of folk kilns during the Qing Dynasty. The exposed white porcelain body at the foot is solid and delicate, bearing traces of time, soil stains, and surface wear. The entire piece is covered with a soft white glaze, the surface of which displays fine crackles, a typical characteristic of blue and white porcelain from the mid-to-late Qing Dynasty. The center of the piece is decorated with the seal script character "寿" (longevity), surrounded by auspicious Sanskrit characters and ruyi cloud patterns, symbolizing good fortune, longevity, and divine protection. The densely packed "寿" characters radiating outwards from the center form a complete "hundred longevity" pattern, expressing the best wishes for long life and wealth. This blue and white porcelain plate cleverly blends traditional Chinese auspicious patterns with Sanskrit elements, reflecting both folk customs and religious symbolism. Its large size, complete decoration, balanced shape, and excellent preservation fully demonstrate the exquisite craftsmanship and profound cultural heritage of Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain, making it highly valuable for decoration and collection.
