The set weighs 603 grams, each piece is approximately 5 cm high, and has a base diameter of approximately 1.6 cm. The consistent and exquisite design of the pieces makes it an elegant scholar's item, suitable for both playing Go and collecting. The black agate chess pieces are carved from a single piece of black agate, featuring an elegant bottle-shaped silhouette, narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. The surface is finely polished, smooth and glossy, showcasing rich textures and a deep, even black color. The light-colored agate chess pieces are carved from natural light honey-colored agate, radiating a warm, translucent texture and a soft jade-like luster. Both sets of pieces are meticulously polished, with rounded, comfortable surfaces and cleverly designed tops for easy gripping during gameplay. The matching wooden storage box features natural wood grain and a simple, traditional design, secured with rustic rope.
