Description: This exquisite set of Southern Song Dynasty Longquan celadon literati wares, comprising a pair of elegant three-eared covered jars and a complete agate Go set, showcases the refined lifestyle of traditional Chinese literati. The jars have rounded, flat bodies, short necks, round openings, and three evenly distributed molded flower-shaped handles on the shoulders. Each jar comes with a matching domed lid, the rim of which is finely polished. The overall shape is balanced and elegant, with an ingenious design, making it a refined storage container for a scholar's study. Both jars are covered in the famous Longquan celadon glaze, thick and translucent, exhibiting a soft, jade-like color and understated luster. The interiors of the jars are fully glazed, while the rims and edges retain the subtle variations in the ceramic's natural texture. The molded flower-shaped handles retain exquisite craftsmanship and natural hand-polished details. The agate Go set features two contrasting types of agate: one is a translucent white agate with a soft pink undertone, and the other is a gray-blue striped agate with unique natural patterns. Each Go set is meticulously polished, presenting a smooth and rounded shape with a delicate touch. This well-preserved set of scholar's Go equipment represents the elegance of Song Dynasty material culture and people's profound understanding of ceramics, natural stone, and spiritual pursuits.
