Description: This 20th-century Japanese Chiichido cast iron teapot showcases the exquisite craftsmanship and elegant aesthetics of traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The teapot has a classic rounded shape, a full body, a short and curved spout, and an integrated arched handle connected by a plum blossom-shaped fitting, creating a harmonious and balanced design. The lid is topped with a layered beaded finial, which is both beautiful and practical. The teapot is crafted from heavy sand-cast iron, featuring a fine, sandy texture and a warm, dark brown antique patina. Years of use have given the iron a smooth, mature finish, exuding a refined and understated elegance.
