Description: This is a typical celadon incense burner from the Longquan kiln of the Yuan dynasty, consisting of two detachable parts: a perforated lid and a spherical body. The lid is decorated with a three-dimensional mythical beast sculpture, and the surface is decorated with scrolling foliage and numerous smoke holes. The incense burner has a wide mouth, short neck, and a rounded, full body, carved with a continuous lotus scroll pattern throughout. The carving is smooth and dense, with a balanced arrangement of flowers and leaves. A pair of dragon handles extend symmetrically from the shoulders, their heads coiled, lifelike and highly three-dimensional. Three animal-hoof-shaped feet firmly support the entire incense burner. The body is covered with a thick, bright green glaze, the color of which is even and refreshing. Natural red firing marks are visible on the unglazed feet. This piece incorporates several advanced ceramic techniques: openwork, molding, surface carving, and high relief. Its magnificent shape and exquisite decoration made it suitable for burning incense in the studies of ancient scholars and Buddhist temples. A well-preserved Yuan Dynasty Longquan tripod incense burner with its original lid is extremely rare in the antique market, possessing immense historical research value and collectible value in the field of Eastern ceramics.
