From an experienced private collector in Pennsylvania, USA, specializing in antique Oriental teaware. Description: This is a beautiful classic Qing Dynasty three-legged round Zisha teapot, suitable for both brewing tea and decorative display. The teapot is made of high-quality Duan clay, presenting a soft, milky-yellow base color with dense, natural, dark mineral spots, giving it a rich earthy texture—a typical characteristic of ancient Yixing teapots. The body is full and rounded, with a rounded belly, slightly narrowing at the shoulder and neck, a short and upright neck, and a wide mouth. The overall lines are smooth and natural, without any abrupt changes. Three evenly distributed nipple-shaped feet support the body, raising the bottom off the ground to facilitate air circulation, following the traditional design of ancient teapots. The spout curves gracefully from one side of the body, with a carefully designed tilting angle. The base of the spout blends seamlessly with the body, without any harsh seams. Opposite the body is an ergonomically designed, thick, and rounded ring handle, providing a comfortable grip and perfect balance with the spout for a stable and easy hold. The original lid fits perfectly, with a precise locking mechanism that ensures stability and prevents wobbling. The slightly arched lid is decorated with a band of shallow relief ruyi patterns, the lines soft and rounded, symbolizing good fortune. The lid is adorned with a full, pearl-shaped knob in the center, its moderate size making it easy to lift. The inner wall of the pot is finely polished, retaining traces of hand-hammering, and the material of both the inner and outer walls is consistent. The pot body is unglazed, and all its visual beauty originates from the natural Duan clay. After hundreds of years of weathering, the pot body has developed a deep and subtle patina, radiating a soft, non-reflective luster. The shape of this pot is inspired by ancient bronze ritual vessels, and the handcrafted Zisha clay gives it a warm touch, reinterpreting the beauty of ancient bronzes. This well-preserved, undamaged Qing Dynasty Duan clay tripod pot, along with its original lid, is extremely rare in today's antique market. It is not only a valuable material reference for studying the formula of Qing Dynasty Duan clay and traditional hand-shaping techniques, but also an ideal collectible for teaware display and interior decoration, possessing extremely high artistic appreciation value and profound antique collection significance.
